Local marketing guides

Social apps work the same way everywhere, but the rules around them do not. Whether a sponsored post needs a label, which words count as a label, whether a creator needs a permit, and when your audience is awake all depend on where you and your followers are. This category covers those local questions for the nine countries Socipro has pages for, and only those questions. If a topic is the same everywhere, it belongs in another category.

The guide to start with is influencer ad disclosure rules by country. It names the law and the regulator in each of the nine countries, links to the official text, and shows in one table what each one expects a paid post to say.

Two countries need more than a row in a table. In the UAE, the advertiser permit for influencers guide explains who needs a permit from the UAE National Media Authority, which took over this role from the UAE Media Council, and what it covers. In France, the guide to the country’s influencer law covers its labeling duties and banned promotions. Germany gets its own guide on the Impressum and “Werbung” labels for business profiles.

Timing is the other local question. The best time to post in the UK explains how to read your own analytics against UK time and what the clock change does to a schedule, and a companion guide does the same for creators in Australia’s several time zones.

Every legal guide shows the month it was last checked. These guides are general information, not legal advice. Country pages, starting from all countries, cover prices and payment in each market.
