The short answer
Yes, you can order TikTok followers from Germany, and Socipro shows euro prices. Followers don't change your labeling duty: a post you were paid or gifted to make still needs a clear Werbung or Anzeige label under German law, plus TikTok's disclosure setting. Bought followers add a count, not buyers, and TikTok's rules prohibit trading engagement.
Key facts
- § 5a(4) UWG makes it unfair to hide the commercial purpose of a post, and it presumes that a post promoting another company was paid for unless you credibly show otherwise.
- § 6 DDG requires commercial communications to be clearly recognizable as advertising and the person on whose behalf they are made to be clearly identifiable.
- TikTok's content disclosure setting labels a post either Commercial content or Paid partnership, and TikTok says undisclosed commercial posts may become ineligible for the For You feed.
- TikTok states that exact legal requirements for disclosure vary by country, so the setting does not replace the German label.
- Socipro shows German visitors prices in euros, converted at a daily rate that is locked when checkout starts.
A TikTok profile with a few followers asks viewers for a leap of faith. In Germany, the question has a second layer: if a brand is paying you, the law wants viewers to know. This guide covers both sides for German creators and shops: what a bought follower count does and doesn’t do, and what the labeling rules say once money, gifts or discount codes enter your videos.
It is a plain-language overview, not legal advice. If a contract with real money sits behind a campaign, ask a lawyer who works in German advertising law.
Can you buy TikTok followers from Germany?
Yes. Ordering from Germany works like ordering anywhere else: you give a public username, we show the profile back to you before you pay, and delivery starts once payment clears. You can buy TikTok followers from the global service page, or use the Germany page for TikTok followers, which shows prices in euros.
Two practical points for German buyers. First, the euro price is converted from our dollar price at a rate set once a day and locked the moment you start checkout, so the total you see is the total you pay. Second, delivery is not location-targeted. Your order from Germany doesn’t bring followers from Germany. It brings a starting count, and the audience that matters still arrives through your content, language and timing.
Our Germany hub covers payment and the other services German buyers order most. If you want the price logic across package sizes first, read what TikTok followers cost.
What does a bought follower count actually do?
It changes first impressions, nothing else. Someone who opens your profile from a video sees the follower number before they read a caption. A near-empty profile gives them a reason to leave before the second video. A modest, believable count removes that reason.
It doesn’t create buyers, comments or shares. Those come from videos people want to watch, and TikTok decides who sees them from viewer behavior. Our guide to how the TikTok algorithm works explains what the platform reads. If the video loses people in the first seconds, a bigger follower count won’t rescue it.
The honest use case is narrow: a new creator, a shop launching an account, a studio testing whether a style works. In all three, the count is scaffolding while the content does the work.

What does TikTok say about buying followers?
TikTok’s Community Guidelines prohibit “the trade of services that artificially boost engagement.” We list that as a risk on every service page, and it applies from Germany as it does everywhere else. TikTok decides what to remove, and we can’t control it. Our guide to whether buying TikTok followers is safe goes through what that can mean for an account.
For German creators, the platform rule and the legal rule are separate questions. The first is about your account on TikTok. The second is about whether people who see your video are told when it is an ad, and whether you use numbers to give a wrong impression of your reach.
When does a TikTok video need the Werbung label?
When it has a commercial purpose that viewers can’t see from the circumstances. The core rule sits in § 5a(4) of the Act against Unfair Competition (UWG): it is unfair to hide the commercial purpose of a business act when it isn’t obvious from the context and the omission is likely to lead someone to a decision they would not otherwise have made.
The same paragraph adds a clause that matters for creators. Promoting another company’s product is not a commercial act if you receive no payment or similar consideration from that company. But the law presumes you did receive something, unless you credibly show you did not.
Section 6 of the Digitale-Dienste-Gesetz (DDG) says commercial communications must be clearly recognizable as such, and the person on whose behalf they are made must be clearly identifiable. The state media authorities, the Landesmedienanstalten, publish a guide to labeling advertising in online media that connects the Media State Treaty and the DDG to everyday formats; its labeling matrix shows whether, how and where labeling is required.
In practice, German creators and brands use plain German words such as Werbung or Anzeige, placed where viewers see them without searching. Our post on Impressum and Werbung basics goes through label wording in more detail, and the nine-country disclosure comparison shows how Germany differs from the US, UK and France.
| Situation in a TikTok video | Commercial purpose? | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| A company pays you to show its product | Yes | Label it Werbung or Anzeige, and use TikTok’s disclosure setting |
| A brand sends a free product and you mention it | Presumed, unless you can credibly show otherwise | Label it; a gift counts as consideration |
| You promote your own shop’s product on your shop account | Obvious from context | Usually no extra label; check with a lawyer for personal accounts |
| You buy followers for your own profile | Not an ad | No Werbung label; followers are not a paid promotion |
| You show a product you bought and like, with no link or deal | Generally not commercial | No label, but avoid praise that reads like a pitch |
How does TikTok’s own disclosure setting fit in?
TikTok asks creators to turn on its content disclosure setting when a post promotes a brand, product or service. The setting adds a label, either Commercial content or Paid partnership, so viewers can tell commercial posts from ordinary ones. TikTok says its own study found the setting doesn’t change how content is recommended.
It also says that undisclosed commercial posts may become ineligible for the For You feed, and that creators get a notification and a window to respond or appeal. TikTok adds that exact legal requirements vary by country. For a German creator, the sensible reading is to use both: the platform setting for TikTok and a written Werbung or Anzeige for the law.
The follower count plays no part in this. If a brand deal is in the video, the label belongs on it whether your count grew on its own or got a starter order.
How do creators in Germany combine a starter count with Werbung?
We have no statistics on what German creators do, and we won’t make any up. These are common situations, not data, and you can judge which one is yours.
The hobby that turns professional. A creator posts for months, reaches a few hundred followers and wants the profile to look established before approaching local brands. A small starter order fills the profile. Any brand deal that follows needs the label from the first video.
The small shop. A florist in Cologne, a bike workshop in Leipzig or a bakery in Munich opens a TikTok account for the shop. The profile is a business profile, so the shop’s own product videos are plainly commercial and need no extra label, but the profile still looks bare without followers. See our pages for Berlin and Munich for city-level notes.
The creator who works with brands. Here the follower number is not the main asset. Engagement and audience fit are. A bought count can make a profile look bigger than the audience that engages with it, and a brand that pays on the strength of that number may feel misled. That is a business risk you carry, so don’t sell reach you don’t have.
The stream host. A creator planning a launch stream may order viewers instead of followers. Our page on TikTok LIVE viewers in Germany covers that, and viewers are matched to your audience country by our team at order time.
How to order and what to check first
- Choose Quality or Premium. Premium includes a refill window on TikTok followers; Quality doesn’t. The Quality vs Premium guide explains the difference.
- Enter the public username. We look the profile up and show it to you before you pay.
- Pay by card or Apple Pay. Prices are in euros for German visitors.
- Follow delivery on your order page. If we can’t deliver part of the order, the shortfall goes to your Socipro wallet under the refund policy.
Before you pay, check three things on your side. The account should be public. The username should be exact. And the plan for the next ten videos should exist, because the count does nothing for you without them. Our guide to getting more TikTok followers without paying is a good companion.
What are the limits?
A bought count can’t make you eligible for monetization on its own, can’t make a video reach people who don’t like it, and can’t fix a missing label. It also can’t change TikTok’s rules. If TikTok removes inflated followers, the count falls, and Premium’s refill window is the only part of our service that tops it up.
On the German side, a follower number is a fact people may rely on. If you use it in a sales pitch, a media kit or an ad, make sure what you say is true. The question isn’t whether you bought followers, it is what you claim they mean.
