Prices and payment in Canada
Canadian buyers see prices in US dollars. We don’t run a separate CAD price list, because a converted figure would drift every day; instead your card issuer converts the USD total when the charge goes through. The rate and any foreign currency fee come from your bank, so check your card terms if you order often.
Card and Apple Pay confirm straight away.
The figure you approve at checkout is final, with any tax we must collect folded in. If an order can’t be completed, the undelivered part becomes Socipro wallet credit for any other service. Premium adds a refill window on services that have one. Read the refund policy for the full rules and how it works for the link check we run before payment.
How people in Canada use Socipro
A bilingual creator testing two versions. Say you film the same recipe in English and in French. Ordering views on both gives each version a fair start, and after a week you can see which language your audience saves and shares more. The order doesn’t decide that; your viewers do.
A hockey streamer going live on game nights. If you stream reactions on TikTok or YouTube during games, the first minutes decide whether newcomers stay. Live viewers for the opening stretch mean people who tap in from the For You feed don’t find an empty room, and you see which nights hold a crowd.
A craft brand in Halifax launching on Instagram. If you run a small shop and are posting your first product Reels, you want them to reach past the friends who already follow. Views and likes give those first posts a push, and you judge each one by saves, shares and visits to your site. Never use the numbers to suggest to customers that you are bigger than you are.
Social media in Canada: what to know
DataReportal’s Digital 2026 report for Canada, published in November 2025, counts advertising audiences for late 2025. These are reachable users, not monthly actives, but they show how the platforms compare.
| Platform | Canadian ad audience, late 2025 | Share | 12-month change |
|---|---|---|---|
| YouTube | 33.0 million | 82.1% of the population | +4.1% |
| 21.0 million | 62.5% of adults 18+ | +10.8% | |
| TikTok | 16.6 million (18+) | 50.6% of adults 18+ | +36.4% |
| X | 9.74 million | 28.5% of adults 18+ | −2.8% |
Two languages. In the 2021 Census, 19.2% of people in Canada spoke mostly French at home; in Quebec it was 77.5%. If your audience includes Quebec, caption in French and test whether French or English videos travel further.
Ad labels. The Competition Bureau treats influencer posts as marketing under the Competition Act and asks you to disclose material connections, such as payment, free products or family ties, in each post, in clear words that travel with the post when it is shared. Ad Standards’ 2025 disclosure guidelines name #Ad as the gold standard. Our disclosure rules guide sets Canada beside the US and UK.
Posting windows. Canada has six time zones, and Newfoundland sits half an hour off its neighbors. A post at 8 p.m. in Toronto lands at 9:30 p.m. in St. John’s and 5 p.m. in Vancouver. Most of Saskatchewan stays on Central Standard Time all year, and Yukon has kept a fixed UTC−7 since 2020, so the gaps shift when the rest of the country changes its clocks on the first Sunday in November and the second Sunday in March. If you post for both Canada and the US, an Eastern evening slot covers Toronto, Montreal and New York at once.
