How Instagram decides what gets seen

There is no single Instagram algorithm. In Instagram Ranking Explained, Instagram describes separate systems for Feed, Stories, Explore and Reels, each tuned to how people use that part of the app.

Feed and Stories lean on relationships. They look at your activity, information about each post, information about who posted it and your history of interacting with that account. Feed then predicts a handful of actions for each post: how long you will spend on it, whether you will comment, like, share it or tap the profile photo. Meta’s Feed ranking page goes further and spells out individual predictions in more detail, including the chance you will send a post to someone in a DM.

Reels and Explore are about discovery, so most of what you see comes from accounts you do not follow. For Reels, the predictions Instagram calls most important are whether you will reshare a Reel, watch it to the end, like it and open its audio page. For Explore, they are likes, saves and shares.

The takeaway for a creator is simple: different services touch different surfaces. Followers help Feed and Stories reach. Likes, shares and views affect how a post looks to people deciding whether to engage. None of them replace a Reel that holds attention. Our Instagram guides cover the details, starting with how the Instagram algorithm works and Instagram shares and sends.

Quality or Premium on Instagram

Every Instagram service comes in two tiers, and Premium costs a little more. What the extra buys depends on the service.

On followers, likes and reposts, the count is public and a drop can be proven, so Premium adds a refill window: if the number falls below what we delivered during that time, you request a top-up from the order page. The window’s length is listed on each service page.

On views, comments and shares, neither tier has a refill. View counts on Reels barely move, comments cannot be told apart from ones you deleted, and share counts are not reliably public. There, Premium means a stricter pool of accounts and nothing else.

Quality is the sensible choice for testing a single post. Premium suits a profile or post you plan to keep promoting.

Instagram FAQ

Questions about Instagram orders, answered.

Which Instagram service should I start with?

Start with the gap a visitor would notice first. If your profile has strong posts but a very low follower count, followers come first. If the profile looks fine but new posts sit quietly, likes or Reel views on your next good post make more sense. Order one service, watch your insights for a week, then decide on the next.

Does Instagram remove bought followers and likes?

It can. Meta's spam rules prohibit buying engagement, and Instagram removes activity it considers inauthentic, usually by taking away the follows or likes rather than acting on the account. That is why followers, likes and reposts carry a refill window on Premium, and why we deliver gradually instead of in one burst.

Do these services work on creator and business accounts?

Yes. Personal, creator and business accounts all work, as long as the account is public while the order runs. Account type does not change how delivery works. Business and creator accounts do get more detailed insights, which makes it easier to see what an order changed and what it did not.

Can I use one order across several Instagram posts?

Each order item goes to one post or one profile. For several posts, add one item per post to your cart and pay for them together; each gets its own tracking. Splitting likes or views across many posts in one item is not offered at the moment, because every delivery is tied to a single link.

Why was my Instagram link rejected?

The link check stops anything an order cannot reach: private accounts, stories and highlights, profile links on post services, and photo posts on the views service, since Instagram only counts plays on video. The message tells you which case applies and, where possible, points you to the service that fits the link you pasted.

Should I buy Instagram followers or likes first?

It depends on what visitors see first. Someone arriving from a Reel looks at your profile and follower count; someone scrolling Feed or a hashtag sees the post and its likes. If you are growing from Reels, followers usually matter sooner. If you post to an existing audience, likes on key posts matter more.
