How TikTok decides what gets seen

TikTok has published the broad outline of its For You system in How TikTok recommends videos #ForYou. It groups the inputs into three kinds. User interactions come first: the videos someone likes or shares, the accounts they follow, the comments they post and the videos they create. Video information comes next, meaning captions, sounds and hashtags. Device and account settings, such as language, country and device type, count for less, because people do not choose them as preferences.

Within that, TikTok gives more weight to strong signals of interest than weak ones. Its example of a strong signal is a viewer finishing a longer video from beginning to end.

The same explainer makes a point that surprises many new creators: neither follower count nor a history of hit videos is a direct factor. A new account can reach For You with its first upload, and a big account can post a video that goes nowhere.

For buyers, this sets expectations. Views, likes, shares and saves change how a video looks to the people who find it; followers change how your profile looks when they tap through. What carries a video further is how real viewers watch and respond. More in our TikTok guides, especially how the TikTok For You algorithm works and TikTok saves vs shares.

Quality or Premium on TikTok

Each TikTok service has two tiers. Premium costs a little more and, where a refill can be verified, includes one.

Followers, likes, shares and saves all show public counts on TikTok, so Premium on those services adds a refill window: if the count drops below what we delivered during that time, you ask for a top-up on the order page. Each service page lists the window.

Views, comments and the two LIVE services have no refill on either tier. View counts rarely fall, a missing comment cannot be told apart from one you deleted, and a stream that has ended cannot be topped up. On those, Premium routes your order through a stricter pool of accounts.

Quality fits tests and short-lived videos. Premium fits the profile and the videos you keep pinned.

TikTok FAQ

Questions about TikTok orders, answered.

Which TikTok service should I start with?

For most new accounts, views on your strongest video come first, because the play count on your grid is what visitors judge. Add likes in proportion once the views are in. Followers make sense when videos already send people to your profile and they leave without following. LIVE services are only for streams.

Does TikTok remove bought views or followers?

It can. TikTok's Community Guidelines ban the trade of services that artificially boost engagement, and TikTok says it removes fake followers and likes it detects. View counts rarely drop in practice; followers and likes can. That is why followers, likes, shares and saves carry a refill window on Premium.

Do I need a certain number of followers to go LIVE?

TikTok's LIVE rules set an age minimum of 18 and a follower threshold that differs between markets; TikTok does not publish one number for everyone. Your own app shows whether LIVE is available to you. Our LIVE services only work once you are already streaming.

Can I order TikTok services for a photo post?

Partly. Photo-mode posts can receive likes, shares, saves and comments, because those are counted the same way on photos. Views are video-only, since plays are not counted on photo carousels like they are on video, and the link check will stop a photo post on that service.

Why was my TikTok link rejected?

The check stops links an order cannot reach: private accounts, friends-only videos, profile links on video services, video links on the followers service, and LIVE links on regular video services. For LIVE services, the check stops you if you are not streaming. The message tells you which service fits the link instead.

Do bought TikTok views help me earn from Creator Rewards?

Do not buy them for that. TikTok weighs strong signals of interest, such as watching a longer video to the end, and bought views do not provide them. Use views to change how a video looks to people who find it, and judge it by watch time and retention in your analytics.
