Quick answers
- Payment: Yes, UAE cards with a Visa, Mastercard or American Express logo work, and so does Apple Pay.
- Currency: You pay in US dollars; the dirham is pegged to the dollar, so the AED amount is predictable.
- Disclosure: Promotion from within the UAE needs an Advertiser Permit unless it is your own business; ordering views does not change that.
- Delivery: Not location-targeted, and orders can start at any hour in Gulf time.
Prices and payment in the UAE
Every price on Socipro is listed in US dollars, and for UAE buyers that is a convenient default. The dirham has been held at 3.6725 to the dollar since November 1997, so you can turn any price into dirhams in your head and land within a few fils of your bank statement. The only thing that can move the final number is a fee your own bank charges on foreign-currency purchases.
UAE buyers can pay by card or Apple Pay. Both start the order as soon as the payment clears and the link check passes.
The total you see at checkout is the amount you pay. If an order cannot be fully delivered, the undelivered part goes back to your Socipro wallet. Card and Apple Pay payments can be refunded to the card on request, as the refund policy explains.
How people in the UAE use Socipro
A newly arrived creator restarting from zero. People move to the UAE for work and often start a fresh Instagram or TikTok account around their new life here: apartment hunting, weekend trips to the mountains, first Ramadan in the city. Their videos are good, but a brand-new profile with almost no followers gets skipped. They order a modest batch of Instagram followers and some views on their three strongest Reels, then keep posting to see which topic actually holds attention.
A chef opening a small kitchen. The owner films the build-out, the menu tasting and the first service, and posts each clip from their own account, which keeps them inside the own-business exemption described in the permit rules. On opening week they put TikTok views behind the tasting clip and the first-service clip, then compare which one brings more profile visits and saves. The numbers decide which format they repeat.
A gaming or talk streamer testing a new evening slot. They want to know whether 10 p.m. Gulf time works better than 8 p.m. for their audience. For two weeks they open each stream with a small order of TikTok live viewers so the room is not empty when the first visitors arrive, and they track how many of those visitors stay and chat. The point is a fair test, not a fake crowd: if a slot does not hold real viewers, it gets dropped.
Social media in the UAE: what to know
Usage is unusually high. DataReportal’s Digital 2026 report counts 12.5 million social media user identities in the UAE in October 2025, equal to 110 percent of the population. That figure counts accounts, not unique people, and many residents keep several. The same report puts Instagram’s ad reach at 8.05 million (70.5 percent of the population), YouTube at 8.37 million, Snapchat at 5.13 million and X at 2.85 million. TikTok reported an adult ad audience of 12.5 million, a number that is larger than the adult population itself, which is a reminder that platform ad tools count accounts and visitors, not citizens.
Promotion needs a permit. The UAE Media Council announced the Advertiser Permit in July 2025, and Gulf News reports it has been mandatory since 1 February 2026. Its website now redirects to the UAE National Media Authority, a federal authority set up under Federal Decree-Law No. 11 of 2025, so look there for the current rules. It covers anyone who publishes promotional posts on social media, whether paid, gifted or unpaid, and the license number has to be shown on the account. It was announced as free for the first three years; Gulf News lists fines from Dh5,000 for content breaches and Dh10,000 for operating without a licence. People promoting their own business through a personal account and minors doing educational, cultural or sports work were described as exempt. Visitors apply through licensed agencies. Our guide to the UAE advertiser permit goes through who needs one; check the UAE National Media Authority’s current rules before you post an ad.
The week runs Saturday to Sunday off. Since 2022 the federal weekend has been Saturday and Sunday, with Friday a half day for government staff. Friday afternoon therefore behaves like the start of the weekend for many people, and it is worth testing as a posting slot.
Gulf time does not change. The UAE stays on Gulf Standard Time, UTC+4, all year with no daylight saving. If part of your audience lives in Europe, the gap to them shrinks by an hour in the European summer and grows again in winter, so a slot that caught both groups in July may miss one of them in December. Start with weekday evenings and Friday afternoon in UAE time, then let your own analytics decide.
