Quick answers
- Payment: Visa, Mastercard and American Express cards work, and so does Apple Pay. A card that shows only the CB logo does not.
- Currency: You see euro prices, and the total at checkout is the total charged.
- Disclosure: Ordering views does not make a post an ad. A paid brand deal does, and it needs « publicité » or « collaboration commerciale ».
- Delivery: It is not location-targeted. France describes your market, not where the accounts come from.
Prices and payment in France
You see Socipro prices in euros. Behind the scenes they come from our US dollar list, converted at a rate we set once a day, and the rate locks when you open checkout. Nothing moves between the moment you choose a package and the moment you pay.
Pay with a card or Apple Pay. If timing matters, for example a video you want watched before a concert, use card or Apple Pay: the order starts once payment clears and the link check passes.
Shortfalls become Socipro wallet credit, as the refund policy explains.
How people in France use Socipro
A singer-songwriter before the Fête de la Musique. Every June 21, free concerts fill streets all over France, and musicians post rehearsal clips in the days before. One songwriter films the same chorus in three arrangements and puts an equal order of TikTok views behind each clip. The version that people watch to the end is the one she plays first on the night.
A style creator planning soldes videos. France allows two legal sales periods a year, one starting in January and one in summer, and her followers ask her every time what is worth trying on. She films her sale guide twice, once as a try-on Reel and once as a talking-head list, and gives both an identical order of Instagram views the week before. Whichever format draws more saves and replies is the one she uses on the first day of the sales.
A beauty creator starting a weekly live. She wants to answer skincare questions every Thursday evening on TikTok, but the first streams open to an empty room and newcomers leave fast. For a month she starts each stream with a small order of TikTok live viewers, then tracks how many real visitors stay and ask a question. If the slot does not build a regular audience by then, she moves it.
Social media in France: what to know
Snapchat is bigger than many expect. DataReportal’s Digital 2026 report gives Snapchat an ad reach of 29.8 million people in France in late 2025, slightly more than Instagram at 28.2 million. TikTok reached 23.4 million adults, 43.9 percent of everyone aged 18 and over, and YouTube reached 51.5 million, 77.2 percent of the population. X stood at 12.4 million. For reaching strangers, though, Instagram and TikTok are built for it: Instagram says its Explore tab is mostly posts from accounts you do not follow, and TikTok says follower count is not a direct factor in what its For You feed recommends.
The 2023 influencer law sets the labels. Law no. 2023-451 of June 9, 2023 governs commercial influence. In its current version, Article 5-2 asks that commercial intent be shown with « publicité » or « collaboration commerciale », or an equivalent mention suited to the format. Article 5 adds « Images retouchées » for edited faces and silhouettes and « Images virtuelles » for generated ones. Our guide to the French influencer law walks through who it covers.
Sales periods shape the retail calendar. The two legal soldes periods have lasted at most four weeks each since 2020. Shops plan their posting around them, and so do the creators who cover fashion and beauty.
Post on Central European Time. France uses CET, UTC+1, and CEST, UTC+2, in summer. Begin with weekday evenings and Sunday, then compare a fortnight of results in your own analytics before you settle on a schedule.
