X (Twitter) Trend Topic prices in euros

One campaign price per package of hours. Every package covers the worldwide list and the four countries you pick; the countries do not change the price.

The start time is chosen in UTC; German time is UTC+1 in winter and UTC+2 in summer, so a 20:00 launch in Berlin is 19:00 or 18:00 UTC. Pay by card or Apple Pay, and book at least an hour ahead, up to 30 days, to allow time for the hashtag review.

Why trend topics matter for Germany accounts

The German trending list is a national notice board. Anyone in Germany who opens the Explore tab on X sees it, and many open it precisely to find out what everyone is talking about. With 19.0 million people in X’s German ad audience in late 2025, according to DataReportal, a hashtag on that list reaches people who have never seen your account. That is why it suits moments with a clear start: a podcast premiere, a crowdfunding launch, a charity run you are organizing, a new album.

This service aims for the top five of the German list and the worldwide list, plus three countries you add, for the hours you pick. For a German-language project, Austria and Switzerland are the natural companions. It does not promise a position. The list is shaped by whatever else Germany is discussing, and on a night with a major news story or a big match, the competition is heavy. If the campaign does not reach the lists it targets, the price goes back to your wallet.

German time shifts twice a year, between UTC+1 in winter and UTC+2 in summer, while the start picker stays in UTC. Convert your launch moment and check it again if it falls near the clock change at the end of March or October. You can book up to 30 days ahead, which suits a release date that is already fixed.

Two practical points round it off. Prepare the posts people will see when they click your hashtag: a pinned thread, a short video, a few replies. And if a brand pays for the campaign, label those posts Werbung, as the state media authorities expect. For more background, see how X trending topics work.

Before you order

  • Trending lists are decided by X (Twitter). If your hashtag doesn't reach the lists, the amount is refunded to your Socipro wallet.
  • Hashtags that break platform rules, involve fraud or adult content, or target people are not accepted.
  • Check the spelling twice: the hashtag cannot be changed once the campaign starts.
  • Have a few posts using the hashtag ready, so people who click through find something to read.

Which hours suit a trend campaign in Germany?

The hours when the people you want are on X and something is happening: a premiere, a launch evening, the first hour of a live event. Weekday evenings in German time are a reasonable default. If you add Austria and Switzerland as two of your other countries, one evening slot covers all three, since they share the same clock.

Does a sponsored hashtag need a Werbung label in Germany?

If a company pays you to push it, yes. The state media authorities expect paid posts to be marked clearly as Werbung or Anzeige, and a hashtag campaign does not escape that. Put the label in the posts that use the hashtag. Campaigns for your own podcast, fundraiser or creative project are a different case, but say clearly who is behind them.

Can I get my money back if it never trends?

Yes, as wallet credit. If the hashtag does not reach the trending lists the campaign targets, the campaign price goes to your Socipro wallet, as our refund policy states. If you paid by card or Apple Pay, you can ask support to send it back to the card instead. Once it has appeared, the campaign counts as delivered.

Should I add Austria and Switzerland to a German campaign?

Yes, if your hashtag is in German. Austria and Switzerland share the language and the same time zone as Germany, so one start time covers the whole DACH area. Pick them only if your product ships there or your audience follows the topic, and leave out any country where you cannot serve the people who click.

Can X tell, and is it safe to buy a trend?

There is risk. X's authenticity rules prohibit operating multiple accounts to inflate the prominence of content. X also says its trends filter out posts from bots, new accounts and low-follower authors. Use a topic tied to a real moment and support it with your own posts.
