Paying from Ireland

Prices are shown in euro, so an Irish card is charged in the same currency you see. Pay by Visa, Mastercard or American Express, or by Apple Pay. Your own bank decides whether it adds a fee for a merchant based in the United States.

## Prices and payment in Ireland

Ireland uses the euro, and so does Socipro here. Every price you see on an Irish page is already in euro, the secure payment page shows the same total, and nothing is converted in between. The only variable left is your own bank: Socipro is a US company, and some issuers apply a fee to payments to merchants outside the euro area. If you want to know in advance, look at the fee table of your card.

You can pay by Visa, Mastercard or American Express, or by Apple Pay. Both start the order the moment the payment clears and the link check passes. Bank transfer is not offered, and neither is any local-only scheme.

If you pay with USDT cryptocurrency, the order is 4% cheaper. When an order cannot be delivered in full, the undelivered part is refunded: to your Socipro wallet for an account, to the original payment method for a guest. The [refund policy](https://socipro.com/refund) explains the steps.

## How people in Ireland use Socipro

**A live-music pub or a trad session.** A venue in Doolin, Dingle or Dublin films the Thursday night session, posts it as a Reel and wants the clip to start with views rather than zero. The owner orders [Instagram views](https://socipro.com/ie/buy-instagram-views) for the strongest clip, then watches saves and profile visits to see which tune or which night people respond to, and books more of that.

**A maker selling at Christmas markets.** A ceramicist or knitwear designer has a good product, a handful of followers and a stall in a city market from November. Before the first weekend she orders [Instagram followers](https://socipro.com/ie/buy-instagram-followers) so a customer scanning her profile at the stall does not meet an empty page, and she keeps the posts coming. The aim is a fair first impression, not a crowd.

**A student society or a new club.** Colleges in Dublin, Cork, Galway and Limerick fill up with new accounts every autumn, and clubs compete for the same freshers. A society runs a first [TikTok views](https://socipro.com/ie/buy-tiktok-views) test on its welcome video, checks how many sign-ups followed, and decides whether to make a second one.

## Social media in Ireland: what to know

DataReportal’s Digital 2026 report counts 4.26 million social media user identities in Ireland in October 2025, equal to 80.1% of a population of 5.32 million. That is a count of accounts, not of unique people, and the report notes that the total closely mirrors YouTube’s reach. The platform figures below are advertising reach, a measure of who an advertiser can reach, not monthly active users.

| Platform | Ad reach, late 2025 | Share of population |
| --- | --- | --- |
| YouTube | 4.26 million | 80.1% |
| Facebook | 2.60 million | 48.9% |
| Instagram | 2.60 million | 48.9% |
| TikTok (age 18 and over) | 2.59 million | 62.6% of adults 18+ |
| Snapchat | 2.34 million | 44.0% |
| X | 1.55 million | 29.1% |

YouTube reaches the widest slice of the country, while X is a smaller, newsier audience, which matters if you plan a hashtag campaign there.

**Language.** English is the language of almost every post, but Irish is a living part of the feed. The 2022 census recorded almost 1.9 million people who said they could speak Irish, while about 72,000 used it daily outside school.

**Time and posting windows.** Ireland shares the UK clock: Greenwich Mean Time in winter, one hour ahead in summer. Clocks go back on October 25, 2026 and forward on March 28, 2027. For your first tests, try a weekday lunch hour, weekday evenings after dinner and Sunday evening, all in Irish time, and keep each slot for two weeks. Your own analytics should overrule any rule of thumb, including this one.

**The calendar.** Saint Patrick’s Festival runs from March 13 to 17, 2027, with the national parade in Dublin on March 17. Ireland play England at the Aviva Stadium on February 5, 2027 and France on March 13, 2027 in the Six Nations. Electric Picnic returns to Stradbally in late August 2027, and its tickets sold out within hours. Feeds crowd around those dates, so launch before or after them unless the event is your subject.

## Rules to know before you promote a post

Irish advertising and consumer rules are joined up. The Advertising Standards Authority for Ireland (ASAI) and the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC) published joint guidance on influencer advertising in 2023. It applies to anyone who gets a commercial benefit for a post, whether money, free products, trips, affiliate links, discount codes or promoting their own brand.

The main label is #Ad, with #Fogra for posts in Irish. #Gifted, or #Féirín in Irish, is only for unsolicited items where the brand did not influence the post. Labels should be clear to a viewer before they engage with the post. Using the platform’s own paid-partnership tool counts as well. The guidance rests on the Consumer Protection Act 2007 and the ASAI Code, and the ASAI can publish upheld complaints, naming creators and brands.

Coimisiún na Meán, the media regulator, adds a platform layer. Its Online Safety Code, adopted in October 2024, expects video-sharing platforms to let uploaders declare commercial communications. Our [country-by-country disclosure guide](https://socipro.com/blog/influencer-disclosure-rules-by-country) compares the rules across markets, and [how it works](https://socipro.com/how-it-works) shows how a Socipro order runs.

## Ireland FAQ

Payment, currency and the rules that apply in Ireland.

### Can I pay in euro from an Irish card?

Yes. Prices on Socipro are listed in euro for Ireland, and the secure payment page shows the same total before you confirm, so there is no sterling or dollar conversion on our side. Socipro is a company in the United States, so a few banks treat the payment as a foreign merchant and may add a small fee. Your card terms say whether yours does.

### Does Apple Pay work with Irish bank cards?

Usually, yes. Apple Pay is accepted at checkout, and it works with eligible Visa and Mastercard cards from Irish banks. Irish banks have supported it for years: AIB from 2017 and Bank of Ireland from November 2020. Whether your own card is eligible depends on the bank that issued it, so add it to Wallet first.

### Do you take Revolut cards or bank transfer?

A Revolut card is accepted when it is a Visa or Mastercard, the same as any other card. Bank transfer is not offered, and neither are PayPal, Google Pay or any other local payment scheme. Pay by card or Apple Pay, or with USDT cryptocurrency for a discount, and the order starts as soon as the payment clears and the link check passes.

### Do Irish influencer rules apply if I buy followers?

Not for buying, but they apply to what you post afterwards. The ASAI Code and the CCPC and ASAI guidance say any post that is paid for, gifted or tied to your own brand must carry a clear label such as #Ad, or #Fogra in Irish. A follower order changes none of that, and a count should never be shown to a brand as proof of influence.

### What time zone is Socipro support in?

Support works by email at support@socipro.com, and our refund policy sets a target of one business day for a first reply. Ireland shares its clock with the UK: Greenwich Mean Time in winter, one hour ahead in summer. Clocks go back on October 25, 2026 and forward on March 28, 2027. Put your order number in the first line of your message.

### Can I order for a business account?

Yes. A public business profile, shop page or company channel works exactly like a personal one, because we only need the public username or link. Every order is checked before payment. If your accountant wants the order details on paper, email support@socipro.com with your order number and tell us what you need on the document.

### Will the followers or views come from Ireland?

No. Delivery is not location-targeted, so orders arrive from our general network, not from Irish accounts. That means an order will not make a Dublin café show up for people in Dublin. Use location tags, local hashtags and collaborations for that, and use the order to change the number a new visitor sees on your profile.

### What happens if an order is not fully delivered?

The undelivered part is refunded. For a signed-in account it goes to your Socipro wallet as credit; for a guest order it goes back to the original payment method. The order page shows progress as it runs, so you see a shortfall as it happens. The full terms are on the [refund page](https://socipro.com/refund).
