The short answer

On October 12, 2026, well-known sellers charged about $13 to $36 for 1,000 Instagram followers, depending on the tier. Socipro charged $16.70 for Quality and $19.04 for Premium, which adds a 60-day refill window. The price moves with account grade, refill window, delivery pace and the seller's refund rule.

Key facts

- On October 12, 2026, Socipro listed 1,000 Instagram followers at $16.70 (Quality, no refill) and $19.04 (Premium, 60-day refill window).
- Across five well-known sellers checked on October 12, 2026, US dollar prices for 1,000 Instagram followers ranged from $12.99 to $35.99, depending on the tier.
- Larger packages cost less per follower: on October 12, 2026, 10,000 Quality followers at Socipro cost $110.76, about $11.08 per thousand.
- Meta's Spam policy, which covers Instagram, prohibits selling, buying or exchanging engagement such as likes, shares, views and follows (checked October 12, 2026).
- Instagram announced on November 19, 2018 that it would remove inauthentic likes, follows and comments from accounts using third-party apps to boost their popularity.

## How much do 1,000 Instagram followers cost?

On October 12, 2026, five well-known sellers listed 1,000 Instagram followers at prices between $12.99 and $35.99 in US dollars, with one euro-priced offer at €6.90. Where a seller sold more than one tier, the top tier cost up to about 2.7 times the entry tier for the same number of followers.

That spread is the whole story of this guide. The number of followers is identical; what changes is the grade of account behind them, what happens when some disappear, and who pays when an order falls short. If you already know what you want, you can [buy Instagram followers](https://socipro.com/buy-instagram-followers) on our service page, where the price table is always the live one.

Here is what Socipro charged on October 12, 2026, for the two tiers we sell.

| Followers | Quality (USD) | Premium (USD) |
| --- | --- | --- |
| 100 | $2.28 | $2.60 |
| 500 | $10.26 | $11.70 |
| 1,000 | $16.70 | $19.04 |
| 2,500 | $33.40 | $38.08 |
| 5,000 | $61.18 | $69.75 |
| 10,000 | $110.76 | $126.27 |

Quality has no refill. Premium includes a 60-day refill window. Visitors in the euro zone see the same table in euros. Prices change, so treat this table as a dated record and check the service page before you order.

## What are other sellers charging right now?

We opened five sellers’ Instagram follower pages on October 12, 2026, and wrote down the 1,000-follower price each page displayed. Tier names are the sellers’ own. We didn’t place orders, so this table says nothing about delivery, drop or support at any of them.

| Seller | Tier (seller’s name) | 1,000 followers | Checked |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Likes.io | High Quality | $13.49 | Oct 12, 2026 |
| Likes.io | Exclusive / VIP | $20.69 / $35.99 | Oct 12, 2026 |
| Blastup | Premium Followers | $12.99 | Oct 12, 2026 |
| Tokmatik | High Quality Followers | $14.99 | Oct 12, 2026 |
| Social Boss | High Quality / Premium | $17.59 / $26.38 | Oct 12, 2026 |
| Mixx | 1,000 Followers | €6.90 | Oct 12, 2026 |

A few notes on reading it. Likes.io’s Exclusive and VIP prices come from the product data published on its page rather than the default view. Mixx showed us euro prices. Several sellers showed a struck-through “original” price next to the current one; we recorded only the price you would actually pay. Other well-known sellers blocked our checker or loaded prices in a way we couldn’t read, so they are left out rather than guessed.

The takeaway: around $13 to $20 buys an entry or mid tier from an established seller, and top tiers go well past that. Prices far below this band exist, and they deserve a closer look.

## What decides the price of Instagram followers?

Six things, and only the first is visible on the price tag.

| Factor | Cheaper end | Pricier end | Why it costs money |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Account grade | Low-effort accounts, often empty profiles | Accounts with photos, posts and history | Better accounts are scarcer and cost the seller more |
| Refill window | None | A set number of days, written down | The seller pays again for every follower it replaces |
| Delivery pace | Large jumps | Gradual, spread over time | Slow delivery ties up the seller’s capacity for longer |
| Drop coverage | You absorb any loss | Losses topped up during the window | Covered losses are a cost the seller budgets for |
| Link check | Order sent to whatever you typed | Profile looked up and shown before payment | Lookups and support for wrong orders cost time |
| Refunds | Unclear or none | Written rule for partial delivery | Refunds come out of the seller’s margin |

When two prices for 1,000 followers differ by a few dollars, the gap usually sits in the refill window and the account grade. When they differ by ten times, the cheaper offer is usually missing several of these rows at once.

## What does Premium add at Socipro?

The difference between our two tiers at 1,000 followers was $2.34 on October 12, 2026, roughly 14%. Here is what that buys.

| | Quality | Premium |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Price for 1,000 (Oct 12, 2026) | $16.70 | $19.04 |
| Account grade | Entry grade | Higher-grade accounts |
| Refill window | None | 60 days |
| Profile check before payment | Yes | Yes |
| Live order tracking | Yes | Yes |
| Shortfall credited to your wallet | Yes | Yes |

Pick Quality for a cheap first test where some loss is acceptable. Pick Premium when you want the number to hold through the weeks after delivery. Our guide to [Quality vs Premium](https://socipro.com/blog/quality-vs-premium) goes through the tiers across every service, and [refill explained](https://socipro.com/blog/refill-explained) covers exactly what a refill request does.

## Why are some followers so cheap?

Because the most expensive parts of the service have been removed. You will see offers that work out to well under a dollar per hundred. A price like that leaves no room for a refill, for support that answers, or for account grades that hold up.

Instagram’s own actions explain why that matters. Meta’s Spam policy, which applies to Instagram, prohibits “selling, buying, or exchanging for engagement, such as likes, shares, views, follows”. In its November 19, 2018 announcement, Instagram said it would start removing inauthentic likes, follows and comments from accounts that use third-party apps to boost their popularity. The lowest-grade accounts are the easiest for those systems to catch, so they are the first to vanish.

When they vanish, a seller with a refill window replaces them and absorbs the cost. A seller without one leaves you with the loss. Over a few weeks, a very cheap order can end up costing more per follower kept than a mid-priced one. Our guide to [why Instagram followers drop](https://socipro.com/blog/why-instagram-followers-drop) explains the causes of loss in more detail.

There is a second risk that has nothing to do with price. That same 2018 post described how people who use growth apps give those apps access to their accounts, and how those accounts then get used to like and follow others. Any offer that asks for more than your public username is a reason to close the tab, whatever it costs.

Very cheap offers also tend to arrive in one large jump. A profile that gains a thousand followers overnight, with no change in likes or comments, looks odd to the people who visit it. Instagram’s recommendation guidelines also say it tries not to recommend accounts that repeatedly use misleading practices to build a following, so repeat buying at any price carries that risk.

## How do I compare follower sellers fairly?

Put each offer through the same checks before you look at the price. A cheap offer that fails two of them is not cheaper.

1. **Same tier, same quantity.** Compare 1,000 against 1,000, and entry tier against entry tier. A “premium” label at one seller can sit at the entry level of another.
2. **Refill window in writing.** How many days, and how do you request it? A promise with no number and no request process behind it is not a refill window.
3. **Username only.** The order should need your public username and nothing else, at every step.
4. **Profile preview before payment.** A seller that shows your profile back to you catches typos and private accounts before your money moves. It costs the seller a lookup, and it saves you a wasted order.
5. **Tracking.** You should be able to watch the count rise on an order page, not wait for an email.
6. **Partial-delivery rule.** What happens if 800 of your 1,000 arrive? Look for a written answer.
7. **Honest claims.** A seller that promises numbers will never drop or that nothing can go wrong is telling you how it writes the rest of its page.

Then work out the price per follower you expect to keep. Divide the price by the number you expect to remain after a month, not the number delivered. A refill window raises the first number and protects the second.

## Does buying more at once lower the price?

Yes, per follower. At Socipro on October 12, 2026, 1,000 Quality followers cost $16.70, while 10,000 cost $110.76, about $11.08 per thousand. Most sellers we checked showed the same pattern of bigger discounts on bigger packages.

That doesn’t mean a big first order is a good idea. A small order tells you how a seller delivers and how much drops before you commit more. It also keeps your follower count in step with the likes and comments your posts already get, which matters to anyone who looks at your profile. Scale up only once a first order has held.

## What should 1,000 followers be worth to you?

Price only makes sense against what you want from the order. For a new creator profile or a launch account, 1,000 followers are a starting count that helps visitors take the page seriously while your posts earn the rest. They won’t comment, share or buy, and they shouldn’t be presented to sponsors or customers as proof of influence.

If that is the job, a mid-priced tier with a refill window is usually the sensible spend. ## Frequently asked questions

### Why do follower prices vary so much between sites?

Because sellers are pricing different things under the same word. The follower accounts behind a cheap tier and a premium tier are not the same grade, and the price also pays for a refill window, gradual delivery, support and a refund rule. Two offers for 1,000 followers only compare fairly once you line up those terms side by side.

### Is Premium worth the extra few dollars?

It is if you care about the count holding. At Socipro, Premium cost $2.34 more than Quality for 1,000 followers on October 12, 2026, and that difference buys a 60-day refill window. If your count drops during the window, you request a top-up from your order page. If you only want a quick test and accept some loss, Quality costs less.

### Do bigger follower packages cost less per follower?

Yes, at most sellers, including Socipro. On October 12, 2026, our Quality tier cost $16.70 for 1,000 followers but $110.76 for 10,000, which works out to about $11.08 per thousand. A large first order is still a poor test of a seller you don't know, so start small and scale up once a delivery has held.

### What happens if a follower order falls short?

At Socipro, the undelivered part is credited to your Socipro wallet, and you can spend it on your next order. Other sellers handle this differently, so read the refund page before you pay anywhere. Look for a written rule that says what happens to a partial delivery, not only to an order that never starts.

### Are prices different outside the US?

The amount is the same, but the currency can change. Socipro shows prices in US dollars by default, and visitors in the euro zone see them in euros. UK customers see US dollar prices, and a UK card pays in sterling at checkout, converted by the card. Your bank may add its own foreign-transaction fee.
